West stone drive Kingsport TN we had five family's an over ten children this place was not busy and would not take our orders we finally walked out we had a church hill declive with us as well as a few more high ranking individuals.And the waitress keep telling are boys that were tried to hunger a ready to eat a get home ,that she would take out order when she was ready to.I didn't say a word I thought to myself ok it will be any minute,well ten minutes go by she stands there talking to the cook,we haven't got drinks or even a nice complement since we all got there..So after we all waited to see what they would do ,it was ridiculous they stood in the corner an talked to each laughing meanwhile we have out kids that just got done playing ball its a school night an this waitress decided she wasn't going to serve us . After we had been there over twenty min we all decided to kinda stand up a head towards the door, by this time the only thing we could go get to eat was Burger King.
Waffle house lost anywhere from 250.00 to 300.09 a whatever a tip would have been... But because a lazy worker see a big group of people and decided right then she wasn't going to serve us at all,
The comments that she made that night made a lasting impression on me and my family along with football family ...
I will not go back to waffle House and have got no help with this situation to this day, and it has almost been a month... So thanks waffle house no nothing

I'm highly pissed. I was charged extra for something I didn't order and charged for what I did order that wasn't even correct.
I drive a whole county away to go to this place, literally a whole town away. All I got was a girl that told me it wasn't her job to cook my order right and some guy that cussed at me and raised his voice and basically told me I was a liar. He said he knew damn well for a fact my order was correct, that i needed to call the *** down and screamed at me. I have a photo of my order.
And was charged extra for crap I didn't ask for. Period I was over charged, what they did give me wasn't right, I was yelled at, disrespected, and hung up on. I had to call back. Supposed to me hashbrowns with grilled jalapenos and sausage on the side.
Zero of either. Then that night wanna scream at me and tell me he knows for a fact he did.

Bad service
User's recommendation: I always take a service there. I have never had a problem. I don't know if it was this new waitress they had in there or what I've been told that to the manager that I loved the restaurant and I always ate there and I had never had a problem, I'd Robin I will recommend it. It's a good restaurant. It was just bad service today.
Thus was NOT a recurring debit. It was for a one time dinner.

I was in one of your restaurants (store #112161) on September 15, 2023 around 12:30 PM when I heard an employee named Micah who is a caucasian male say the following to a African American female (Robin) "in my opinion there is not more attractive than a black woman cooking," as she cooking on the grill. It appeared that she didn't hear him because she did not have a response or look in his direction.
I said "I'd be careful with that kind of statement," and he responded "I'm always careful." Ideally, any man being called out by another man for making misogynistic or racial comments to a lady would realize they've crossed a line and self correct. Rather, Micah doubled down with his statement. Then, I said "more careful than what I just heard." Fortunately, he remained quiet and didn't continue to double down. I began asking my waitress (don't recall her name) what the store number is and the GM name.
She told me "I heard him and it made me feel so uncomfortable but I didn't know what to say." I validated her position by telling her men are accustomed to saying whatever they want to women, and elaborate on how unacceptable it is for him to make those comments to any woman, but especially a black woman. She and Robin (who provided me the GM contact information) thanked me for stepping in. I said to them Micah has to move in an environment of such privilege in order to not realize that he can't talk to women that way in the workplace literally in front of all the guests. I called the GM Tina Knight and left her a voicemail describing the incident.
I work around the corner from that location and typically get coffee from there. Today was the first incident of flagrant misogynistic racially motived speech from a staff member. Lastly, I found out he is the subordinate to Robin. Again, as a mental health professional, that further demonstrates a level of privilege that easily make women in the workplace feel uncomfortable but they are afraid to confront a man.
Please follow up on this as I am regularly in that location and will never tolerate a woman being disrespected in my presence.

User's recommendation: If you see an employee being sexist or racist to someone please speak up as employees don't always have their own voice and believe they have to go along in order to get along.

User's recommendation: Don't go to this location if anything because off management the way he spoke to me he even gave the employee th way off talking like that to me as well that is not how you train or talk with customers

They're not set up for that and it made no sense.
As to losing on your order, I don't think they care about an attention .....who would put their pic up on a complaint site. Hope that BK hits the spot.
More like 20, because OP says it was the families PLUS the 10 children. So, 20+. Who would take more than 2 people to a Waffle House!
