There seems to be a common belief, among Waffle House cooks, that wearing gloves means you are being food safe. Nothing could further from the truth!

As I watch them cook, I often see a cook handle raw bacon, sausage, or chicken, as they place them on the grill........but, do they change gloves? NO!

They then handle the cooked food, toast, omelets, waffles, etc..........with the same, nasty gloves. They would be safer if they used bare hands; they would feel the nasty on their hands and want to wash them.

Perhaps some 'food safe' protocol needs to be addressed. This seems to happen mostly when there is only one cook. He/she gets in a hurry and does not change gloves.

Product or Service Mentioned: Waffle House Sanitary Conditions.

Reason of review: unsanitary food handling.
