A Black couple went to Waffle House and ordered their food to-go. When they got the receipt, they noticed that the orange juice was $2.50 instead of $1.00 as it was listed on the menu.
The man asked for them to either remove the charge or just charge them $1.00 for the juice. Waffle House now claims that the juice is only $1.00 if you dine in.
After the couple asked to call Customer Service, Waffle House called the police - who then arrested both the man and the woman for theft.
The man's money was still on the counter and they never received the food which was also still on the counter.
The couple stole nothing. They never ate a thing.
Shame on the @Fort Walton Beach Police Department for even making this arrest. Of course, the police then dropped all of the charges later. No crime was committed.
